My journey is not conventional, but divine...
From a very young age, I developed a deep respect and reverence for marriage. Even as a child, I carried the heart of an “old soul.” I naturally gravitated toward friendships with those 10 to 15 years older than me—and before long, they began seeking my advice about their marriages.
Over time, I realized something profound: the enemy often targets marriages, because the strength of our society is built on the foundation of the family. Without fully understanding it then, I was already walking in the will of God—serving families and standing in the gap for their restoration.
To the husband or wife who feels frustrated, lonely, unappreciated, betrayed, or physically drained—so much so that even finding time to pray feels impossible, let alone dreaming again—hear this:

“Can Two Walk Together, Except They Agree!”
— Amos 3:3
Our love story is a true reflection of God’s glory. It all began when a photographer friend randomly asked to write an article about me. He published it on a national website, and on the very day it was released my future husband happened to read it. After reading, he said to himself, “I wish I could meet that girl.”
Just two days later, we met, completely unaware of that divine setup. I was with a close family friend, someone I consider a second mother. She introduced me to him, saying, “This is my daughter.” What’s wild is that for almost four years, she had been telling him to marry her daughter, me, every time she saw him. Yet, he never once asked for a name or a photo. He simply wasn’t interested… until now.
Tell me that’s not God!
A few months later, we got married. The first year felt like a dream—full of love, laughter, and connection. We then had seasons of ups and downs subsequent years. But then came year nine, and it shook me. I was blindsided by challenges I hadn’t expected: unresolved anger, clashing personalities, miscommunication, and emotional distance. Things got so difficult that we even considered divorce. Eventually, we separated, living in different states. I couldn’t imagine going through another year like that.
In my brokenness, I turned to God in a deeper way. Through that journey, I began to heal, grow, and understand what it truly takes to build a lasting marriage. And today, I’m so grateful to say we’ve been married for almost 13 years—and we’re thriving. Not just in our relationship, but in every area of life.
I’m here to share the lessons I’ve learned along the way—honest, hard-won wisdom that helped transform our story into one of restoration, purpose, and joy.
